Two Months

Wow, this cute little girl has been with us a total of 8 weeks, unbelievable! We are able to live in the moment as we go through our days, but in retrospect it all happens rather quickly. The moments are so precious I don't want to miss them, but I'm also so excited for all that lies ahead.

Two months old, and so much fun we have had! Luckily I have 6 months of maternity leave. How awful it would be if I had to start getting used to the idea of going back next month. Such a travesty that our country does not give more support for paid maternity leave.

Anyway, without getting political, here are some portraits of what I believe to be our most adorable daughter. Taken this AM.





In other news... we had our second swim class yesterday. It was mostly a resounding success. She dipped underwater briefly 3 times, but then was crying so I didn't want to push it and we stopped. She zonked out for two hours afterwards, and from what I understand 20 minutes in the water for a newborn is a major workout. Here's her in a baby wetsuit learning how to float.



Ginger also love John's guitar playing. He is starting to get some serious mean blues licks which Ginger loves, and as you can see here, does her best to sing along to.
